About the School

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Educational Support Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Good Ofsted rated SEMH School located in Dorset. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting pupils with SEMH/ADHD/Autism and a passion for helping children develop their learning skills.

The Role

This is a great opportunity to work with an excellent team and support pupils in achieving their full potential. As an Educational Support Assistant, you will be working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to pupils with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supporting pupils with SEMH/ADHD/Autism in class and during activities
  2. Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  3. Providing one-to-one support to pupils as needed
  4. Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in education or a related field
  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including:

Working Hours

The working hours for this role are 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday. You will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the school and its pupils.
