Job Title: Senior Privacy Counsel

At Entain, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Privacy Counsel to join our global privacy team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in assisting with various workstreams, including data breach management, privacy law compliance, and strategic advice on complex data projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage data breaches, liaise with regulatory authorities, and provide strategic advice on data protection laws and regulations.
  • Support the development of our privacy program, including the creation of privacy notices, data mapping, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Privacy Officer to define strategy and create privacy documentation for complex data sharing initiatives.
  • Provide strategic advice on key projects involving complex data issues, such as facial recognition, AI, and sophisticated algorithms.
  • Support M&A transactions involving personal data, completing due diligence assessments and evaluating marketing and database plans.
  • Attend Executive and Senior Leadership Committees to provide data privacy updates and strategic advice.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified lawyer with experience in data protection laws and regulations.
  • DPO experience for a global organization.
  • Extensive experience in-house or at a law firm.
  • Commercial contract experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality.
