Internal Sales Executive

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industry, is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join their sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales and a proven track record of managing key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow sales with existing customers/key accounts
  • Take orders by phone/email and process sales orders, arranging dispatch with the warehouse team
  • Raise replenishment purchase orders to suppliers to maintain required products on the shelf
  • Good knowledge of Sage
  • Willingness to learn product and market
  • Resolve customer disputes/issues regarding quality expectations, product shortages, damages, and urgent/delayed delivery issues
  • Ability to generate leads, contact prospective customers via phone/email and visit them as needed for business development and other business matters
  • Prepare and submit sales reports as desired by management
  • Be part of developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs
  • Provide daily reports of field sales success and communicate the Voice of the Customer (VOC) data to superiors
Requirements:
  • B2B product-sales knowledge and experience of handling/managing key accounts
  • Willingness to travel at least 1 day per week to visit customers for sales development, attending sample trials, and seeing products in function
  • Confident communicator with a can-do attitude, polite but firm telephone manner, and ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, and service providers
  • Commercial, common-sense approach
  • Ability to operate at pace under pressure, while not sacrificing quality and accuracy
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Recognize the importance of attention to detail, yet awareness for the bigger picture
