Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project controls leadership roles, preferably in the construction or engineering sector. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring successful and timely project delivery.

About the Role

As our ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in Primavera P6 planning software and a solid understanding of project risk management. You will also possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver Project Controls Services: Lead and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring successful and timely project delivery.
  2. Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules, optimizing project execution and efficiency.
  3. Cost Control and Reporting: Review cost control reports, including budgets, commitments, forecasting, expenditure, contingency management, variance analysis, and monthly project reporting.
  4. Schedule Progress Reports: Provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with project planners, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely data incorporation into project schedules.
  6. Risk Management: Analyze data to understand variances from plan and impact of actual performance on costs by area/discipline, maintaining a record of contractor scope changes, trends, and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or equivalent work-based experience.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in a Project Controls leadership role.
  • Extensive experience working on large-size, multi-phase construction projects.
  • Strong technical capability in program controls, knowledge of all project phases (design, planning, construction), and familiarity with collaborative project environments.
