Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our Cambridge site. This role is responsible for the safe transportation of waste materials, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
About the RoleThis position comes with an estimated salary of £40,000 per annum, plus performance-related bonuses. You will enjoy an annual leave entitlement of 28 days inclusive of Bank Holidays per annum, as well as opportunities for internal training and progression.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to transport waste materials, adhering to the rules of the road and regulations specified in the Highway Code and Road Traffic Act 1988.
- Maintain comprehensive records of pre-use and end-of-shift defect checks, ensuring the roadworthiness of your vehicle at all times.
- Participate in regular CPC Training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- You must have a sound understanding of Road Transport Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours Regulations.
- A valid driving license and ability to meet the demands of this physically demanding role are essential.
- You should be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
