Job Title: Solutions Architect - Microservices Expert

About The People Network: We are a leading provider of innovative financial services solutions, and we are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team.

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Solutions Architect to design and deliver software and solutions architectures that support the creation of our new Java & API platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Design: Develop architectural designs that encompass the target solutions architecture, ensuring security, scalability, performance, and availability.
  • Quality Assurance: Drive quality through the adoption of standards and best practices, ensuring high-quality solutions.
  • Collaboration: Build close working relationships with engineering and the wider technology group, leading architecture and design reviews throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Solution Development: Support product management in defining and refining solutions architecture to support new product capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Deep Java, API, and Microservices background, with experience in designing and implementing end-to-end application and technical architectures for highly concurrent, real-time transactional systems.
  • Experience: Experienced in conceptual, application, integration, logical, and physical modeling, with a strong understanding of modern architectural and delivery standards and methods, including Agile, TDD, BDD, CI/CD automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to build and develop relationships across all levels of the business, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
