We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Education Assistant to join our team at Five Education Recruitment Limited. As a Special Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Autism.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in special schools or the care industry and possess strong English skills.

You will be responsible for supporting students in accessing lessons, managing challenging behaviour, providing self-regulation support, prioritising pupils' safety and welfare, offering feedback to teachers, and facilitating personalised learning.

As a Special Education Assistant, you will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, plus benefits including free specialist training, a recommend a friend bonus scheme, subsidised DBS cost, guaranteed work scheme, and specialist support/mentoring.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in special schools or the care industry
