Clinical Oncology Practitioner

The NHS is seeking an experienced Clinical Oncology Practitioner to join its team. As a key member of the SACT service, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide expert care and support to patients.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing autonomous practice in managing patients undergoing SACT
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Evaluating patient outcomes and identifying areas for improvement
In return, you can expect a competitive salary of £65,000 - 80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, the role offers opportunities for professional development and advancement within the NHS.
About the RoleThis Advanced Therapy Specialist position requires significant experience in oncology nursing at band 7 or above. You must possess excellent clinical skills, knowledge of current issues in cancer nursing, and the ability to co-design services with patients. A master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice is also highly desirable.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex workloads and prioritize tasks effectively. They will also be able to demonstrate advanced levels of clinical judgment and decision-making.
