About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team at CrossReach. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the needs of older adults, managing care plans, and providing personal and intimate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergencies and handle communications in a professional manner
  • Participate in meetings and adhere to CrossReach's policies
  • Support service users with daily living tasks and assist with aids
  • Liaise with health professionals to ensure high-quality care
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful living environment
Requirements
  • SVQ 3 in Social Care or willingness to achieve this qualification
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work on a rota basis, including weekends and evenings
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
