Job Description:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, analyzing financial performance and providing actionable insights to drive business growth.
  • Accounting and Reconciliation: Oversee the processing of month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments, ensuring seamless reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the Senior Finance Manager to prepare budgets and reforecast, ensuring alignment with business objectives and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate year-end financial statement audits, liaising with auditors and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare management accounts and provide detailed commentary on key financial areas, including variance analysis and insights into drivers of change.
  • International Subsidiaries: Liaise with international subsidiaries to ensure local finance teams receive necessary support to meet month-end commitments, fostering a culture of collaboration and transparency.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and reconciliation.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering collaboration and building strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
