About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Relief Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Childbase Partnership. As a Relief Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.

As a member of our relief team, you will work on a flexible basis, providing cover for team holidays, training, and other staff leave. You will work with all age groups across the nursery, and some shifts will be offered in advance, while others will become available at short notice.

We are looking for someone who is naturally nurturing, caring, and compassionate to others. You will need to hold an early years qualification and have some experience of caring for children under five, ideally in a nursery environment. You may currently be undertaking further studies at college or university.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Work on a flexible basis, providing cover for team holidays, training, and other staff leave.
  • Work with all age groups across the nursery.
  • Be a positive role model to the children in your care.
  • Contribute to a busy, team environment.
What We Offer
  • An hourly pay rate of £12.10-£13.15 if you're qualified to level 3 or above.

Requirements
  • Hold an early years qualification.
  • Have some experience of caring for children under five, ideally in a nursery environment.
  • Be a positive role model to the children in your care.
  • Enjoy contributing within a busy, team environment.
