Specialist Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team. The ideal candidate will have broad general postgraduate experience, with skills in group presentation and class taking an advantage. Previous Band 6 experience is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Physiotherapy Team Leader, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Acute AHP manager, and will be supported by the Pulmonary Rehab nursing staff team. The role involves working across different sites within NHS D&G, with a base in the West of the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a physiotherapist wishing to specialise in the ever-developing area of Pulmonary Rehabilitation and community-based respiratory physiotherapy. The successful candidate will provide holistic healthcare and work flexibly across 7 days and across different sites within the Board area.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team to provide physiotherapy services to patients
• Develop and deliver group presentation and class taking skills
• Work closely with the Physiotherapy Team Leader and Pulmonary Rehab nursing staff team
• Provide holistic healthcare to patients

Requirements

• Current driving licence (or alternative transport arrangements)
• Previous Band 6 experience
• Broad general postgraduate experience
• Skills in group presentation and class taking
