Job Title: Area Leader, Nights

At Gousto, we're on a mission to become the UK's most loved way to eat dinner. As an Area Leader, Nights, you'll play a crucial role in helping us achieve this goal.

About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team as an Area Leader, Nights. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading a team of night shift staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our Fulfilment Centre, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety is given the highest priority and is considered in all plans, actions, and activities.
  • Team Engagement: Promote participation in employee surveys and conduct regular 1:1's and performance reviews with all team members.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with interrelated departments, such as technical and engineering, to plan and execute production goals efficiently.
  • Attendance and Scheduling: Ensure worker scheduling and attendance records are up to date.
  • Team Performance: Monitor and drive team performance.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Experience leading a team in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
  • HR Knowledge: Good understanding of HR policies that support behavioural and performance management of your team.
  • Customer Focus: Obsess over customer and quality.
  • Coaching and Motivation: Good coaching and motivational skills that support the building and development of high-performing individuals.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using Google sheets, and open to learn other tech systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Basic problem-solving ability (RCA, 5Why's).
  • Strong Ethics: Strong ethics: Honesty, integrity, and autonomy.
