Job Description for Quality Assurance Lead

Company: Seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Oversee the Integrated Management System (IMS) to ensure it is aligned with company objectives.
  3. Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  5. Develop and maintain quality policies and procedures.

Job Activities:

  1. Provide documentation support to projects, including quality plans and inspection reports.
  2. Ensure company-wide policies are visible and up-to-date.
  3. Chair monthly Quality meetings to track and implement actions.
  4. Conduct quarterly management reviews of Quality compliance.
  5. Coordinate inspection resources to support manufacturing, stores, and supply chain operations.
  6. Collate and display quality data to drive improving trends.
  7. Support all department activities with regard to Quality.
  8. Ensure project compliance with customer specifications.
  9. Conduct Root Cause Analysis of critical non-conformance to identify containment actions and future preventative measures.

Requirements:

Essential: Quality Assurance Modules, Internal Auditing of Management System.

Working Hours: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Benefits: Pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
