The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to play a critical role in delivering long-term frameworks, including multi-million-pound highways projects. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in shaping the financial success of some of our most ambitious projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure our projects meet the highest quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Create detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts, which will inform the financial planning of our projects.
- Plan the financial side of our projects, getting measurements on-site or analysing drawings to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Identify potential risks and figure out the best ways to manage them, ensuring we stay ahead of any challenges.
- Oversight of maintenance and repair costs, ensuring we stick to our budgets.
- Prepare profit and loss statements at the end of each month, providing a clear picture of our financial situation.
- Manage our subcontractors, ensuring their payments are processed smoothly and on time.
