Job Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Community Development Advisor to join our HR and volunteer team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in volunteer management, including recruiting volunteers and supporting others to manage and develop volunteers
  • Demonstrated inclusivity and creativity when working with new and existing volunteers
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing volunteer strategies to grow, expand, and engage volunteering across communities
  • Delivering training and coaching to volunteers and staff
  • Supporting volunteer thanking and recognition events
  • Promoting volunteer recruitment and engagement opportunities
