Job Title: Digital Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Digital Engineer to join our team at fish4.co - Jobboard.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing building management systems (BMS) to meet client requirements. This will involve creating control panels, designing digital versions of BMS systems, and ensuring that all software and equipment align with relevant safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Designing new BMS systems to meet client requirements.
  2. Creating control panels for BMS systems, starting with architectural plans and creating panel drawings.
  3. Using software to design digital versions of BMS systems based on project documentation.
  4. Assisting with the graphic design of BMS software.
  5. Producing documentation to instruct other engineers or users on how to interact with the BMS.
  6. Ensuring that all BMS software and equipment align with relevant safety and quality standards.
  7. Conducting site surveys before installation of BMS takes place, or after a system has been installed to check that it is functioning properly.
  8. Commissioning new BMS software to ensure that it works properly.
  9. Maintaining existing BMS systems by fixing errors, running tests, and updating software.
Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering principles.
  2. Previous experience with HVAC Engineering (desirable).
  3. Experience working within a Maintenance Engineering environment.
