Digital Asset Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Repository and Digital Preservation Librarian to join our team at the Digital Preservation Coalition. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of our Digital Preservation Policy, developing our digital asset registers, and supporting the procurement of a Digital Preservation System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital preservation strategy
- Manage and administer our EPrints repository infrastructure
- Provide administrative support for research output related aspects of our Current Research Information System (PURE)
- Work closely with our Open Access and Research Data Librarians, as well as our Planning and IT Services departments
- Ensure our repositories continue to maximise the discovery and sharing of research outputs and best meet diverse funder requirements around Open Access and long term curation
Requirements:
- Proven experience in digital preservation and repository management
- Strong understanding of digital preservation principles and practices
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
