Medical Statistician

As a Medical Statistician at Lifelancer, you will play a crucial role in providing statistical support to researchers, helping them design studies, analyze data, and communicate findings. This includes performing statistical analyses on project-generated data, guiding researchers in study design, and supporting non-statistical team members with basic statistical methodology.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide statistical support to researchers, advising and assisting on study design, data analysis, and basic statistical methodology
- Perform statistical analyses on data generated by the project, and assist in communicating the findings in peer-reviewed publications or reports
- Support the development and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to data processing and statistical matters
- Contribute to the development of trial protocols, design of case report forms, and databases in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Collaborate with researchers to design, implement, and conduct clinical trials and epidemiological studies in low-resource settings
- Postgraduate degree in medical statistics or biostatistics or equivalent
- Experience in medical statistics in applied research and epidemiological research, including sample size calculations, analysis plans, and reporting findings
- Experience in clinical research
- Knowledge of medical statistics and epidemiology
- Statistical programming experience, for example, SAS/Stata/R
