We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Operations Assistant to join our finance team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and Code Invoices: You will be responsible for processing and coding invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare Payment Runs: You will assist in preparing payment runs, ensuring that all payments are made on time and in accordance with company policies.
  • Update and Maintain Spreadsheets: You will be responsible for updating and maintaining spreadsheets, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Process Expenses: You will process expenses in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all expenses are properly coded and approved.
  • Bank Account Reconciliation: You will be responsible for reconciling bank accounts, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for.
  • Assist in Monthly Management Account Preparation: You will assist in preparing monthly management accounts, ensuring that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Journal Posting: You will be responsible for journal posting, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for.
