Job Description

Automation and Control Development Engineer

Location: Malvern

Salary: £45,000

Hewett Recruitment is seeking an experienced Automation and Control Development Engineer to join our client's team in Malvern. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex automation systems for bespoke machinery.

  1. Provide technical support to clients and ensure that their automation needs are met.
  2. Implement bespoke automation and control processes using CADET, a leading automation software.
  3. Develop C# control software to implement the solutions, ensuring high-quality and efficient automation systems.
  4. Review and update legacy control processes to ensure they meet the latest industry standards.
  5. Collaborate with the team to ensure that the automated processes meet the customer requirements and are delivered on time.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in automation and controls engineering, with a strong understanding of automation software and control systems.
  2. Expertise in developing C# control software and implementing automation solutions.
  3. Ability to produce detailed control designs for bespoke machinery, ensuring high-quality and efficient automation systems.
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the engineering team.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues.
