Senior Lifeguard Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Lifeguard to join our team at a high-end Sports Centre in North West London.
Key Responsibilities:- Pool Water Safety: Ensure pool water is safe for swimmers in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Lifeguarding and Support: Act as a lifeguard and provide on-shift support for sports and leisure activities as needed.
- Equipment Preparation: Set out and prepare equipment for users in a timely manner and ensure it is put away after use.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Oversee and participate in cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Building Operations: Assist in building operations, adhering to normal operating procedures, emergency action plans, and health and safety policies.
- Key Holder and Facility Management: Act as a key holder, opening and closing facilities, and conducting building and equipment checks.
- Customer Focus: Promote a customer-focused environment, delivering excellent public relations and customer care.
- NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) and First Aid at Work certification are essential.
- A Level 2 or 3 fitness qualification is desirable.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of wet and dry side operations.
- Flexibility to work shifts and across 7 days.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, with good progression opportunities. Flexibility is required, as early shifts start at 05:45am and late shifts finish at 10:15pm. We are looking for an outgoing character who thrives in meeting the demands of this role.
