The Adult Community Learning Disability team in Glasgow invites applications for a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join their service. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will contribute to the assessment and provision of specialist adaptations, equipment, and involvement in environmental design to enable and rehabilitate the level of function in individuals with complex health and social care needs.

The post holder will work closely with the service user, carers, and agencies to develop and implement individualized plans, promoting independence and community participation. Strong leadership and supervisory skills are essential, as the post holder will provide guidance and support to junior staff and students.

Successful applicants must be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and hold a degree or equivalent in occupational therapy. Participation in continuous professional development opportunities is encouraged, and the post holder will contribute to the development and evaluation of the occupational therapy service.
