Senior German ESG Consultant

At Timely Recruit, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior German ESG Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our consultancy, you will work closely with clients to help them understand and document their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ESG Documentation: Collaborate with senior management to document ESG practices and map the journey to Net Zero, culminating in an annual ESG Impact Report.
  • Revenue Generation: Conduct ESG maturity assessments, due diligence for private equity clients, and generate consulting revenues.
  • Net Zero Strategy: Review Net Zero baseline calculations, create carbon reduction plans, and develop TCFD-aligned climate risk strategies.
  • ESG Benchmarking: Score and benchmark clients on ESG metrics, providing actionable plans for long-term value creation.
Requirements:
  • Consultancy Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Environmental, Social, or Governance aspects of Sustainability within a business consulting environment.
  • Passion for ESG: Demonstrated passion for Net Zero, ESG, or Sustainability initiatives.
  • Consulting Proficiency: Experience working in a consultancy business is highly advantageous.
  • Strong Writing Skills: Enjoy writing detailed reports and documentation, as this is a significant part of the role.
