About the RoleWe are looking for an individual with strong coding skills and experience working with ESG data to support the integration of ESG metrics into our investment process. The successful candidate will maintain and develop our internal data management platform, ensuring that data used by the research team is accurate and fit for purpose.
- Work closely with the Head of ESG and investment teams to integrate ESG data into the investment process.
- Maintain and develop the internal data management platform, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Develop, maintain and upgrade data models, including estimation models for carbon emissions and water consumption.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of methodologies for portfolio assessments, including climate risk metrics.
- Support various data projects, such as automating data, enhancing systems functionality, and reviewing external methodologies.
- Manage relationships with ESG data providers.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in a quantitative or data scientist role in asset management, banking, or fintech. Strong coding skills in Python or R are essential, and knowledge of Bloomberg and other data platforms is desirable. A degree in a relevant field with a quantitative focus is also required.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
