Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Engineer to join our team at Hinkley Point C, where we are working on various roads and networks packages for the permanent works phase of the project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality specifications across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with delivery team engineers, internal quality team, client surveillance team, and quality representatives to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Implement and enforce project procedures, scope, specification, Project Execution Plan (PEP), Project Quality Plan, and British/International Standards.
  • Review quality documentation, including Lifetime Quality Records, End of Construction Records (ECSR), Product Approval Records, and project procedures, RAMS.
  • Conduct site inspections for QRA activity and Non-QRA activity to ensure compliance with Nuclear Safety Standards, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience working as a Quality Engineer or in a similar capacity in civil/major infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of quality requirements.

You should also demonstrate knowledge and practical application of quality control activities in construction, including the ability to interpret structural engineering drawings and specifications.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
