About the Role

We are seeking a highly committed and passionate Teacher who is keen to ignite a real passion in the students by providing a rich, varied and exciting curriculum.

This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified Primary teacher looking to work in an Outstanding school.

The successful applicant will join the school's extended leadership team and be responsible for the pastoral care of the children, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching the Key stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
  • Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching primary school students, ideally in KS2
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Good behaviour management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Enhanced DBS check and professional references
