Senior Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 6 Senior Community Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate mental health professional to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and their families. As a senior clinician, you will play a pivotal part in shaping outstanding community mental healthcare services that deliver happier and healthier lives.

About the Role:
As a Senior Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, person-centred care to adults experiencing mental health difficulties. You will be responsible for rapid assessment and short-term intensive treatment to support individuals and their family/carers through mental health crises.
You will have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership qualities and take a positive risk management approach, ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients. Your expertise will contribute significantly to preventing hospital admission or facilitating discharge from hospital.

Person Specification:
- NMC UK registration
- Able to carry out autonomous mental health assessments
- Work under own initiative
- Resolve problems and respond quickly to urgent mental health needs
- Embrace organisational and service changes
- Undertake effective risk assessment and devise risk management plans
- Create collaborative care plans and implement
- Work 24/7, inclusive of night rotation
- Evidence of further education and development
- Previous CRHTT experience
- Experience in quality care initiatives and audit
- Previous Community mental health experience
- Psychological therapy qualification
Salary: £38,890 - £44,541 per annum (dependent on experience)
