We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Landscaping Supervisor to oversee large-scale landscaping projects for GreenScape Specialist Recruitment in Horsham. This role comes with a salary of approximately £43,500 per annum.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in leading teams on landscaping projects and possess current CSCS Card, Excavator above/below 10 tonnes, Dumper, and a driving licence. A SSSTS or SMSTS qualification is highly recommended.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with 3-4 other supervisors to manage a team of 10 on-site
  • Create accurate landscaping schemes using plans and planting diagrams
  • Ensure effective soil preparation, topsoil importation, grading, and levelling
  • Supervise seeding and turfing operations
  • Maintain fencing and construct hoggin paths
  • Carry out barking/mulching tasks
  • Plant shrubs, tree whips, and mature trees
  • Built foot bridges and install street furniture
  • Pick up and drive teams safely
  • Record and report completed work
  • Communicate issues or problems with Line Managers
  • Conduct toolbox talks and record H&S issues, observations, or accidents
  • Ensure correct uniform and PPE are worn at all times
  • Maintain vehicles and machinery in good working order
  • Clean and service tools and equipment regularly
