The Very Group is a dynamic online retailer seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Professional to join our team. As a key member of our security compliance function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance framework to mitigate risks and protect sensitive information.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify compliance gaps, developing and implementing policies, procedures, and controls to address compliance requirements.
  • Compliance Programme Development: Develop and implement a compliance programme that includes audit and assessment frequency and scope.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with stakeholders, driving continuous improvement initiatives and allocating resources for compliance activities.
  • Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities to identify and address compliance implications.

Your Requirements:

  • Security Expertise: Working knowledge of relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
  • Risk Management: Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks.
  • Project Management: Good project management and organisational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
