A Day in the Life at Orbis
As a Support Worker, you will be part of a close-knit team dedicated to meeting the emotional, physical, and social needs of our residents. Every day is unique, and you will help our residents enjoy activities that boost their independence, confidence, and personal growth. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personalised care to support daily activities, including personal care, life skills, and social interactions.
- Encouraging residents to engage in recreational activities, local outings, and community involvement.
- Promoting independence and celebrating achievements and milestones in our residents' lives.
- Maintaining accurate records of residents' activities, progress, and any incidents that may arise.
- Working collaboratively with a wider team to ensure each individual's care plan is followed, fostering a safe and positive environment.
- Assisting with general housekeeping duties and meal preparation to create a home-like atmosphere.
What We Offer
