Job Description

X4 Group is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Reading. As a leading supplier of aesthetic medical products and devices, we require an individual with excellent inventory management skills, quality control expertise, and strong collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate records, monitor expiration dates, and ensure proper stock rotation to optimize our pharmaceutical inventory.
  • Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks and provide final accuracy checks on dispensed medicines to ensure the highest standards of quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our pharmacy team, communicate with pharmacists, delivery personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy environment with a strong understanding of inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Secondary school examinations or equivalent and a strong desire to learn and grow with our company.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and storage requirements is an asset.
  • NVQ 2 Qualified or equivalent.
  • ACT/ ACDA qualified or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Human Medicines Regulations 2012 and EU GDP Guidelines (2013/C 343/01).
