About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by performing tasks such as mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, has good written and verbal communication skills, and is able to work independently and as part of a team. Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential. You will be required to work on your own initiative, organizing your own time, as you will be managed remotely.
