Job Title: Engineering Project Coordinator

Career Makers is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious engineering project coordinator to join our commercial construction division.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual aiming to progress through the construction management pathway. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with consultants, designers, sub-contractors, and local authority bodies to ensure the project meets specifications and is completed on time. They will also work closely with the Quantity Surveyor to ensure budget control and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting out, levelling, and providing dimensional control for the project.
  • Managing on-site health and safety, implementing, and maintaining group health and safety procedures.
  • Collaborating with consultants, designers, sub-contractors, and local authority bodies to ensure the project meets specifications and is completed on time.
  • Working closely with the Quantity Surveyor to ensure budget control and financial accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 5 years in site engineering and 3 years in management roles.
  • Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, Street Works, Confined Spaces certification, or equivalent.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organisational abilities and a methodical approach to tasks.
Benefits:
  • £35,000-£45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • £5,000 car allowance or company vehicle.
  • Contributory pension scheme (starting at 4% of salary).
  • 20 days holiday per year excluding bank holidays, rising to 25 days after 5 years' service.
