Job Summary

The Hyde Group is seeking a skilled Neighbourhood Officer to join our team. As a Neighbourhood Officer, you will play a vital role in creating a secure and comfortable living environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and improve standards.
  • Perform welfare and vulnerability checks with customers and create personalized risk assessments where necessary.
  • Provide a proactive front-line service to customers, fostering strong relationships with residents, community groups, and local authorities.
  • Deliver operational tasks related to fire safety and building safety legislation across in-scope buildings.
  • Identify and assess potential safety risks and hazards, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments to improve standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a site-based Neighbourhood or Housing position.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Problem-solving skills to address maintenance and tenancy issues.
