Financial Support Role in Poole

We are seeking a skilled Financial Support role candidate to join our client's finance team in the Poole area. As a Financial Support role, you will provide administrative support to the Finance Manager and ensure the smooth operation of the Accounts Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial administrative support to the Finance Manager
  • Process payroll data using Sage, including deductions and holiday pay
  • Manage staff hours worked and maintain accurate records
  • Process payments for suppliers and reconcile bank statements
  • Run reports for Inland Revenue and prepare relevant payments
  • Update and submit FPS and EPS for maternity pay
  • Issue P60s and complete end-of-year payroll tasks
  • Deal with pay-related queries from staff
  • Balance end-of-day takings and run reports
  • Enrol pensions and manage contributions

Requirements and Skills:

  • A background in accounting or a related field
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Sage payroll software
  • A team player approach and excellent problem-solving skills
