Saw Machinist

Job Summary:

Aspire Jobs Limited is seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our client's team in a well-established manufacturing business based in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a circular saw and cutting aluminium plate, as well as performing various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a circular saw to cut aluminium plate
• Calculate cutting plans to achieve optimal yield
• Load the saw with a forklift or vacuum lifting equipment
• Pack completed orders onto pallets
• Complete relevant paperwork and delivery notes
• Perform additional warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Saw Operator or Machine Operator in a similar industry
• Excellent numeracy skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners
• Excellent attention to detail
• Calm under pressure
• Flexible nature
• Forklift Licence desirable but not essential
