Verification Lead Software Engineer

We are a managed service provider partnering with a leading Aerospace company to handle their recruitment process. They manufacture revolutionary technology supporting advanced air mobility and are seeking a Verification Lead Software Engineer to join them on a long-term contract basis.

  1. Lead requirements-based testing for low-level unit testing and Hardware-in-the-loop test environments.
  2. Develop primary unit and HiL test environments for quicker and higher quality results.
  3. Owning the software test plan to meet company development project timing goals and final flight certification.
  4. Support communication between the software development team and the wider project team.
  5. Responsible for verification aspects of the software development process for Design Assurance Level (DAL) A of RTCA DO-178C.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree or equivalent in software or electrical engineering.
  2. Previous experience in verification of embedded software in safety-critical products, e.g. to RTCA DO-178C (or DO-178B) DAL A or B or ISO26262 ASIL D/C.
  3. Experience developing code in C programming language.
  4. Experience of scripting, for example in Python.
  5. Unit testing using for example: li>
  6. Verification of model-based software using MATLAB.
  7. Familiarity with Agile software development & DevOps methodologies and industry best practices for software development.
