Procurement Officer

Camberley

Join our team of professionals in a hybrid role with a mix of office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver cost savings through effective spend analysis and supplier management.
  • Provide day-to-day supplier management on key suppliers, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries.
  • Drive sustainable and ethical procurement strategies, aligning with the company's goals and values.
  • Run tenders and informal market pricing benchmarking to secure the best deals.
  • Manage internal processes related to data gathering, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Support the Waste and Procurement Manager on projects and activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1 year minimum previous procurement experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Confidence and the ability to handle difficult conversations.
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to negotiate and build rapport with people at all levels.
