Job Title: Head of Wind and Brass

The Guildhall School of Music and Drama is seeking an experienced and inspirational musician and educator to join our team as the Head of Wind and Brass.

Job Summary:

The Head of Wind and Brass will play a pivotal role in providing leadership within the department and contributing to the Centre's broader development and success. They will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, maintaining high standards of teaching, and ensuring students make excellent progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example and demonstrate best practices in teaching and learning
  • Oversee departmental resources and foster strong relationships with parents, students, and staff
  • Address issues as needed to maintain a positive and productive environment
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of wind and brass programs
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wind and brass music, excellent teaching and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents. They will also have a passion for music education and a commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences for students.
