We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Driver to join our logistics team at Uniserve, a leading provider of supply chain solutions. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and secure delivery of products to our valued customers. Key responsibilities include daily vehicle checks, loading and unloading of company vehicles, and reporting any customer complaints or vehicle defects promptly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete daily vehicle checks in accordance with company procedures to ensure roadworthiness
  • Report vehicle defects immediately, following company protocols
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of company vehicles
  • Report any customer complaints to the Transport team promptly
  • Ensure compliance with all current EU road transport regulations
  • Safely secure freight for transit, avoiding overloading by weight or capacity
  • Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and security of the vehicle when unattended
Requirements:
  • Holds a valid HGV LGV Class 2 minimum license
  • Holds a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card) and actively maintains qualifications
  • Holds a Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 points on your license
  • Commercial driving experience
  • Proficient in reporting customer complaints and vehicle defects following company procedures
  • ADR awareness or full ADR training is desirable but not essential
