Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Framework Lead to join our Investment Bank/Risk, Finance and Treasury (IB/RFT) Data Office in Group Strategic Analytics (GSA). As part of this team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and running frameworks to control and validate data and data usage. You will also work with a diverse set of data providers to ensure adoption of the data management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Define and agree the roadmap for delivery of data management, data quality, and data tracking frameworks.
  2. Lead the design, implementation, and running of frameworks to control and validate data and data usage.
  3. Work with a diverse set of data providers to ensure adoption of the data management framework.
  4. Provide robust and transparent automated data transfer monitoring and metrics in line with the agreed Data Office Key Promoter Indicators (KPIs).
  5. Proactively engage in evolving the policies, KPIs, and technical frameworks in line with a changing regulatory data landscape.
  6. Coordination with Chief Data Office (CDO) on different initiatives as the Bank's data programme evolves.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with strong experience of server-side development in C++ and Python. You should also have a proven track record of designing robust software frameworks and the ability to fit these into existing platforms. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the technical tools to support that (Git, BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence, TeamCity).
