History Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled History Teacher to join our highly successful and well-resourced department at a Great Mixed School in Peterborough. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at KS3 & KS4 and will be part of a friendly and supportive team.

The school has a longstanding History of academic excellence and has been categorised as Good in its most recent Ofsted report with outstanding pupil behaviour. We have worked with the school for a number of years and it is an excellent place to work both in terms of students and staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach History at KS3 & KS4
  • Contribute to the development of the History department
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals

Requirements

  • History Teacher with the ability to teach at KS3 & KS4
  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Legal ability to work within the UK
