Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Maldon. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Moderate, Severe needs, helping them to engage, interact, and raise their attainment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with MLD and SLD in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to improve engagement, interaction, and attainment.
  • Work closely with parents to ensure continuity of support between school and home.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual children, using a friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning.
Requirements:
  • No school experience required - graduates, support workers, healthcare assistants, youth workers, or personal experience accepted.
  • Ability to work 5 days a week, 8:30am - 3:30pm.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
