About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Pharmacist to lead our Community Pharmacy team, driving developments in Primary Care and Pharmaceutical Public Health. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with East, North, and South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnerships to deliver a whole-system approach to health and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development of Community Pharmacy services, working collaboratively with Primary Care teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  2. Develop and implement Pharmaceutical Public Health strategies, ensuring the health and well-being of our community.
  3. Collaborate with Acute teams to support Caring for Ayrshire, a whole-system approach to health and care.

Requirements:

  • Strong patient focus and leadership skills.
  • Experience in service development and improvement, with a broad range of experience in pharmacy practice.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Working Hours: 37 hours per week.

Essential Requirements: A car license/car ownership is essential for this post.
