Job Title: Principal Software Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Developer to join our R&D Concept Development team at IC Resources. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the architecture, full stack engineering, and front-end design for software-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of projects from idea generation to system demonstration in the lab and in the field.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary internal engineering team and external partners.
  • Design and develop software solutions using the MERN stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with the MERN stack.
  • Design experience with C#, Java, or Python for GUIs.
  • Familiarity with concept design and prototype development.
  • Ability to analyze solutions and make prototype design trade-offs.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with wireless, IoT, or connected device projects.
  • Design experience for geographical mapping/controls.
  • Design experience for RF/analogue displays/controls.

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the work, you must have current SC clearance or be eligible (UK passport required).

Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid role, requiring 3-4 days per week in the office.
