We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at The Springs Resort & Golf Club in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
This is a permanent position requiring full-time hours, with a 40-hour workweek spread across 5 variable days. Flexibility is essential to accommodate the needs of the business.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our guests.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Leading the culinary team, promoting a positive and motivated work culture.
- Ensuring consistent and prompt food preparation and service.
- Managing stock ordering and rotation.
- Verifying menu accuracy and compliance with food safety regulations.
Requirements
Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment is essential. A Level 3 Food Safety qualification and a driving license are also required. A driving license is advantageous for easy travel to and from the resort.
