Job Title: Lead IP Validation Engineer

Arm's Systems Development team is seeking a highly skilled Lead IP Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for verifying and testing sophisticated IP products, ensuring they work effectively with each other and software to enable our partners to produce outstanding systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement test plans, methodologies, and verification strategies to meet quality and schedule requirements.
  • Collaborate with project management and leads to plan tasks, set schedules, and quality checkpoints.
  • Work with engineers from other teams, including architecture, design, implementation, modeling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA, and board development.
  • Mentor junior members and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
Requirements:
  • Experience with embedded C++ based SoC verification environments.
  • Knowledge of assembly language (preferably ARM), C++, and/or hardware verification languages (e.g., SystemVerilog), shell programming/scripting (e.g., Tcl, Perl, Python).
  • Experience with one or more verification methodologies (e.g., UVM, formal, low power, emulation).
  • Exposure to all stages of verification, including requirements collection, verification methodology plans, test plans, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation, and support.
  • Practical experience with verifying processor-based system designs.
  • Technical team leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience.
Nice to Have:
  • Understanding of Arm system architectures.
  • Power-aware and Clock Domain Crossing implementation experience.
  • Experience with embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor, and embedded system hardware architectures.
  • Experience verifying subsystems for PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, Ethernet.
  • Development and deployment of large SoCs on emulation platforms.
