As an Event Operations Manager at Change Hospitality

you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of event delivery, ensuring seamless execution and meeting the highest service standards. This role requires hands-on leadership, logistical expertise, and the ability to work under pressure while coordinating multiple events. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and venue staff to ensure the setup, execution, and breakdown of each event is executed flawlessly.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement operational plans, timelines, and checklists for the setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
  2. Manage the logistical planning of each event, including staffing, equipment, and transportation needs.
  3. Coordinate with suppliers, venues, and internal teams to ensure all operational requirements are in place before each event.
  4. Ensure health, safety, and food hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in event operations management, particularly in the catering or hospitality industry.
  2. Strong understanding of logistics, event coordination, and staff management.
  3. Excellent organizational skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
  5. Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing diverse teams.

Post-Event Review:

  • Conduct post-event debriefs with the team to evaluate operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide reports to senior management on event outcomes and operational insights.
