Reinsurance Wordings Technician II

We are seeking a skilled Reinsurance Wordings Technician II to join our team in London. As a key member of our Reinsurance Solution practice, you will play a crucial role in drafting and reviewing reinsurance contracts, ensuring accuracy and consistency in our documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Draft and review reinsurance contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
  2. Collaborate with brokers, clients, and markets to resolve issues related to contract wording and documentation.
  3. Assist in the development and maintenance of a library of clauses, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant to industry trends.
  4. Monitor statutory positions, regulatory guidelines, and judicial decrees affecting reinsurance contracts, providing expert advice to the team.
  5. Ensure the quality and accuracy of assigned accounts, adhering to team guidelines and best practices.
  6. Participate in marketing presentations to prospective and existing clients, showcasing our expertise and services.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry training and mentoring programs, enhancing your knowledge and skills in reinsurance contract drafting and review.
Requirements:
  1. Law graduate or experience in the industry, with a proven understanding of reinsurance practices and regulations.
  2. Excellent written communication skills, with advanced competence in English language and grammar.
  3. Strategic and analytical thinker, with basic math proficiency and problem-solving skills.
  4. Detail-oriented and adaptable to proprietary systems and applications.
  5. Nominal travel may be required for client meetings and industry events.
